Time-Resolved Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy: Fluorescence, Absorption, Infrared, and TeraHertz


Femtosecond laser systems are based on Ti-sapphire or eventually Cr-forsterite oscillators with various amplifiers. Depending on a system, parameters range, the output power through 300 mW at 80 MHz, 3 mJ at 50 Hz, and 4 mJ at 3kHz, the pulse duration from 25 fs to 150 fs, the spectral wavelength through 267 nm, 400 nm, 800 nm, 620 nm, 1240 nm, and up to 25 000 nm. Terahertz spectroscopy scales up to 2.5 THz. Time resolved spectroscopies cover fluorescence, absorption, and infrared regimes.
