Zeta Potential: Streaming Technique
Zeta potential is interesting macro parameter of charge distribution on the surface, as Stern electric double layer. Titration curve, as zeta potential dependence on pH value, is determined from electro-kinetic analyzer. A principle is based on the correlation between the electrolyte pressure difference and the potential difference of the sample streaming cell. Based on Fairbrother-Mastin and following Smoluchovski equation, the zeta potential is proportional to dU/dp gradient, viscosity, permitivity, and conductivity.
